Our Process
Schematic Phase
At Jenkins Environmental Consulting, we begin by reviewing the facilities and reports provided by the owner to understand the project's requirements. Together, we establish a clear mutual understanding of these needs.
Design Phase
Following the approval of the schematic concept, we will develop detailed design documents for the owner's approval. These documents will outline the project's size, character, materials, and any other relevant elements included in the scope of work.
Bidding Phase
We assist the owner in gathering bids or negotiating proposals. Upon the owner's direction, Jenkins Environmental Consulting will select and negotiate with an abatement contractor or organize a pre-bid conference with a select group of pre-qualified contractors. We recommend avoiding public bidding whenever possible.
Contract Administration
Jenkins Environmental Consulting will oversee the contract administration by regularly visiting the site to monitor the progress and quality of the work. We will ensure that the work aligns with the contract documents, conduct inspections to determine substantial and final completion dates, provide timely written opinions on any claims or disputes between the owner and contractor.
